Pracatum Group: The group of musicians trained by the Escola de Música Pracatum (Pracatum Music School) aims to recover Bahia’s cultural identity through the history of the formation of its people, offering a delicious banquet of rhythms, rites and myths derived from popular Bahian cultural repertoire.

Ebanóises: This group brings together percussive force with the melody of flutes, creating a sound that expounds feminine power in a perfect balance of force and sensibility. The group mixes African rhythmic elements with MPB (Brazilian popular music) and classical music. Its repertoire includes music from Pixinguinha, Tom Jobim, Gilberto Gil, Carlinhos Brown, Bach, Mozart, Michael Praetorius, amongst others.

Hip Hop Roots (www.hhroots.com): The group composes, innovates and recycles influences through the creation of new rhythms. Through insinuation, their lyrics speak of Bahia’s and Candeal’s history, expressing a style of hip-hop that is poetic, joyful and positive, utilizing music to better their social environment.
